Suspension Thread Lift

This procedure is designed to be a less invasive alternative to traditional facelifts, and reduces sagging around the cheeks, jawline and neck. Special threads are used to discreetly hold repositioned skin and facial tissue in place after surgery. In properly selected patients, suspension threads can be used to lift sagging eyebrows, adjust asymmetric brows, reposition sagging chin, lift drooping soft tissues of the mid and lower face and smooth out premature skin aging. It is not uncommon to have a thread lift combined with Botox® or Dysport® to reduce facial activity, and/or a facial filler to enhance volume. Chin augmentation and liposuction of the neck are some of the other procedures that can be done in conjunction with a suspension thread lift. Fat grafting, also known as lipo-infiltration, is done to restore the lost fat at the same time as suspension threads are placed.
