I thought I would have to go through life with a mutilated right breast but you did an amazing (work) surgery and saved my right breast. As a result, I have two beautiful, perfect breasts. I was referred to Dr. Merkel by my GP after a mammogram showed that the implants I had for 30 plus years had just ruptured. He gave me great comfort in his explanation of what he needed to do to remove and replace them. This second set of implants I indeed can tell that they feel more normal and look better than what I had for all of those years. I felt  terrific within 2 months of the reconstruction surgery. It was much nicer having this surgery in his office (nationally accredited operating room) versus the hospital I had before. I can highly recommend him for replacement surgery of any implants.
