Injectables/Fillers

Patients come to us for injectable/filler treatments for a variety of reasons. They may be concerned that their frown lines between the brows make them look tired, stressed or unapproachable. They may have moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds that would benefit from more volume. You may have your own reasons and can discuss them with our Nurse Practitioner Injector or Dr. Merkel. Both perform our injectables and fillers.

Botox® and Dysport® and Xeomin® are products that are injected to temporarily relax the muscles between the brows. By blocking the release of the chemical that causes these muscles to contract, the muscles relax so the skin appears smoother. This is a non-surgical procedure, with minimal discomfort and no downtime. Your Nurse Practitioner or Dr. Merkel will determine the exact technique to inject the product to achieve the best results for you.

Fillers help restore volume and fullness to the skin to correct facial wrinkles and folds. There are numerous injectables on the market and we carry the products that Dr. Merkel feels gives  the best results. What is best for you? Discuss the different products and what you hope to achieve with the injections and our Nurse Practitioner or Dr. Merkel will help you decide the best product for you. We offer:

Fillers can also be used to change the shape of your nose. Until recently, changing the shape of your nose would have required surgery, with the accompanying post-surgical recovery. New fillers now offer a choice to patients for simple nasal contouring. Dr. Merkel or our Nurse Practitioner can discuss what you hope to achieve and determine if this non-surgical rhinoplasty is appropriate for you.
